FIA Issues Official Statement Over Disqualification of Red Bull’s Sergio Perez
In a dramatic turn of events at the latest Formula 1 Grand Prix, the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) has issued an official statement confirming the disqualification of Red Bull Racing’s Sergio Perez. The decision came following a thorough post-race investigation into technical irregularities involving Perez’s car.
According to the FIA, the RB20 driven by Perez was found to be in breach of specific technical regulations concerning the car’s floor and wear plank—components critical for maintaining legal ride height and ensuring fair aerodynamic performance.
