Barcelona have confirmed that Robert Lewandowski and Andreas Christensen have returned to the club for pre-season training after Euro 2024
The duo missed the start of pre-season after being involved in the tournament in Germany this summer.
Lewandowski’s Poland went out in the group stages, while Denmark and Christensen made it to the last 16 before being beaten by hosts Germany.
The two players will undergo medical checks and will then be available to join up with Hansi Flick and the rest of the squad who are already preparing for the new campaign
Flick is due to welcome more players back in the coming days and weeks, with Germany duo Ilkay Gundogan and Marc-Andre ter Stegen expected back next.
Jules Kounde is also expected back before the club’s pre-season tour of the US. It’s been reported he’s declined an offer of an extended break in order to make the trip.
