My Hero Academia Unveils Season 7 Trailer and Announces Release Date

Excitement abounds for My Hero Academia fans as Season 7 gears up for its highly anticipated return. The official X account for the series shared the first trailer on December 16, 2023, along with significant revelations about the upcoming season.

Season 7 is set to premiere on May 4, 2024, as confirmed in the thrilling trailer featuring the intense clash between heroes and villains. Notably, the season will kick off with four recap episodes, collectively titled “My Hero Academia Memories,” providing a quick refresher for viewers.

 

 

The trailer showcases key players in the hero-villain showdown, highlighting Deku and his Class 1-A allies facing off against Shigaraki and the League of Villains. A surprise appearance by the hero Star and Stripe adds to the anticipation. The recap episodes will conclude on May 27, paving the way for regular programming starting June 3, 2024.

 

Season 7 brings back Studio Bones to handle animation, with general director Kenji Nagasaki at the helm, supported by director Naomi Nakayama. Noteworthy changes include Nakayama taking over from Masahiro Mukai, bringing her expertise in storyboarding multiple episodes for the series. The creative team includes series composer Yosuke Kuroda, character designers Yoshihiko Umakoshi and Hitomi Odashima, as well as art directors Shigemi Ikeda and Yukiko Maruyama.
