Molly-Mae Hague was left in complete shock over a blunt comment her ‘cheating’ ex-fiancé Tommy Fury made before their daughter Bambi was born.
The influencer and boxer, 25, who share Bambi, 20 months, shocked fans last week when Molly-Mae announced on social media that they had split.
Tommy has since been at the centre of cheating claims and has been accused of sending ‘flirty messages’ to another woman after a night out in Manchester.
In a resurfaced clip from Tyson Fury’s Netflix show At Home With The Furys, the estranged couple shared their nerves ahead of welcoming a baby girl.
But as Molly-Mae questioned Tommy if he would have preferred a baby boy, Tommy’s shocking response had her jaw on the floor.
Do you feel like you would have been potentially a little happier if it had been a boy?’, Molly-Mae asked.
‘Obviously, it would have been ideal’, Tommy bluntly replied.
Molly-Mae interjected: ‘Whattt?’
Tommy added: ‘To have a son to take to the boxing gym and hold the pads for him. He can hit my hands. But…’
Molly-Mae said: ‘What’s not ideal about a girl?’
Trying to justify his statement, Tommy added: ‘There’s nothing not ideal about a girl.
‘I’m just saying. Although, I wouldn’t push her into boxing, because getting punched in the face for a living…’
Molly-Mae added: ‘It’s not that fun, is it? It’s not a very smart way to make a living.’
Tommy, who was brought up in a traditional Traveller fashion, explained that girls often do not go to school or leave education at a young age.
Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller children often leave after primary school to learn ‘traditional’ skills. These skills include bricklaying and tree-cutting for young boys, while girls will be taught homemaking by their mothers.
It proved to be a sticking point for the couple, as Molly-Mae insisted there was ‘no way’ her daughter would not receive a full education.
A woman called Kay Keogh has shared that while the pair were still together, Tommy direct messaged her after they met on a night out – and she says she has proof.
Kay took to TikTok to share a screenshot of a message from an account which was allegedly Tommy’s, which read: ‘Are you in Manchester?’
‘I was thinking about whether I should make this video or not, but I am going to,’ she said. ‘So, me and my friends were out in Manchester and we actually met him [Tommy] one night.
‘Basically, we were on a night out with a group of guys and I didn’t really put two and two together of who he really was.
One of the guys asked for my Instagram, which I gave to him. We were all together, but basically after looking at my phone and seeing his name pop up, that’s when I realised who he was.
‘Obviously, after I saw his name pop up I was thinking ‘What the hell’. Then I obviously realised who he was, but I literally have DMs and I don’t know whether I should put them out or not.’
In a second video, Kay added: ‘So this is part two of the Tommy situation, my friend was there so she is going to explain what happened as well.’
Her friend then said: ‘I am not from the UK so I did not recognise him until we looked at the DM and obviously we were on his page.’
Meanwhile a Danish partygoer who Tommy reportedly kissed during a wild holiday before his split has spoken out.
Boxer Tommy jetted abroad for a holiday in Ohrid, North Macedonia earlier this year where he reportedly kissed a blonde woman in a nightclub, leading Molly-Mae to announce their split last week after five years together.
Onlookers have claimed the boxer ‘didn’t seem to care’ who saw him brazenly kiss the blonde as he downed vodka and partied at a nightclub at 2am.
Jewellery assistant Milla Corfixen, 20, has now denied kissing the Love Island star and insisted: ‘He was a proper gentleman.’
