Paris Fury has paid an emotional tribute to her daughter Athena after a “rough start in life” as she celebrated her third birthday.

The mum-of-seven, from Morecambe, and husband Tyson welcomed their youngest daughter into the world in August 2021. However, she was put on ventilators early and “stopped breathing for three minutes” before being revived by miracle workers at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool.

Now three years old, Athena celebrated her birthday with a “pink party” at make-up brand PLouise’s Pink Island Café in Stockport. Paris, 34, posted a series of adorable pictures on Instagram to her 1.8 million followers showing Athena and older sister Valencia in matching bespoke dresses.

She captioned the post: “Happy 3rd birthday our beautiful Athena ‘fairy’. After such a rough start to life I’d of never dreamed she would be so clever, beautiful and amazing.

The post has been liked nearly 40,000 times with more than 200 people sharing their birthday wishes. One said: “Happy 3rd Athena fighter just like your dad.”

A fourth said: “Can’t believe Athena is 3!” while another added: “You have the most beautiful children and such a beautiful family. God bless.”

Athena had a difficult introduction to the world due to serious health complications caused by a heart condition called Neonatal Supraventricular Tachycardia (SVT). She was placed in intensive care and even required resuscitation after her breathing ceased, much to the alarm of her parents.

They took her off me, put her on the table and resuscitated her,” Paris recalled. “Tyson came running in. It was horrific.”
